Compare the Too Many Tabs and Crystal Flowers mouse pads on size, grip, design, and price to pick the right novelty desk mat for your workspace.
Quick answer
Choose the Too Many Tabs Mouse Pad if you want a funny, relatable desk accessory that sparks conversation. Choose the Crystal Flowers Mouse Pad if you prefer a bright floral design that adds color without a joke. Both share the same 9.45" x 7.87" size and non-slip rubber base, so the real decision comes down to personality and price.
Design personality: humor vs floral color
The Too Many Tabs Mouse Pad leans into self-deprecating humor about overthinking and multitasking. It works as a novelty mouse pad for office desks where a little personality helps break the ice. The Crystal Flowers Mouse Pad takes a different route: a floral and crystal pattern on a black background that brightens the setup without making a joke. Neither design is objectively better—it depends on whether you want your desk to make people smile or simply look lively.
Size and grip: what the shared specs mean for daily use
Both pads measure 9.45" x 7.87" (24cm x 20cm) and are about 0.078" (0.2cm) thick. That is a compact footprint, so check your available desk space before buying—especially if you use a low-sensitivity mouse that needs wide arm movements. The non-slip, high-elasticity rubber base on both helps keep the pad in place during normal use. However, the catalog does not specify edge stitching or a water-resistant surface, so treat them as standard cloth-style pads and avoid heavy spills.
Price and ordering trade-offs
The Too Many Tabs Mouse Pad is listed at USD 8.95 (compared to a USD 13.99 comparison price), while the Crystal Flowers Mouse Pad is USD 9.23 (also compared to USD 13.99). Both are handmade to order, which means a small production window before shipping. The Crystal Flowers listing explicitly states no returns or exchanges on mousepads, so double-check the design before ordering. The Too Many Tabs listing does not state a return policy in the supplied facts—confirm with the shop if that matters to you.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Humor vs decoration: The Too Many Tabs pad makes a joke about busy brains; the Crystal Flowers pad is purely decorative. Pick the one that matches the tone of your workspace.
- Footprint vs mouse movement: Both pads are compact at roughly 9.45" x 7.87". If you need a large sweep area for gaming or design work, measure your desk first—these may feel small. Tape out the dimensions on your desk to confirm the fit before ordering.
- Return policy difference: The Crystal Flowers listing states no returns or exchanges on mousepads. The Too Many Tabs listing does not mention a policy, so ask the shop directly if you are unsure.
